<p>Recently my friends and I were talking about some <strong>fast ways to lose weight</strong> and if having your own personal trainer could help you achieve your weight loss goals in less time. We pretty much agreed unanimously that getting a trainer was a good idea and here is why.</p>

<li>They can make you accountable; it’s been shown that when we are being monitored our performance and attention we give to a task goes up as much as 80%!</li>
<li>When you are paying hard earned cash on ways to lose weight fast then this is no longer just a notion, you are actually taking real, serious steps towards achieving your goal.</li>
</ul>
<p>The problem for most people that want to lose weight quickly is that they often enlist the help of their friend as their training partner. This really is not ideal as what tends to happen is one wont go without the other making an easy excuse for skipping workouts, more time is spend catching up than on the machines.   If your friend is tagging along but initially this was your idea then your motivational levels are higher than theirs, they are only trying to lose weight because you mentioned it to them where if it was your decision this is something that is clearly important to you.</p>
<p>As well meaning as a friend can be they are really not qualified in <em>ways to lose weight fast</em> and could potentially be more of a distraction than a help!  Next time you’re in the gym make the commitment to speak to a personal trainer and see what they can do to help. On the cabbage soup diet you alternate between days of vegetables and days of fruits. The first day consists of any fruits (except bananas) and your soup, the recipe of which is easily found by a quick search on Google.  Examples  of some good fruits to eat on this first day are cantaloupes and water melon as these have less calories than most fruits. With liquids for optimally fast weight loss you should drink only water.</p>
<p>Day two is an all vegtable day where you are better sticking to leafy green veggies and away from dry beans, corn and peas.  It is worth mentioning that there are some variations of the plan that allow for additional, different foods on different days, some with up to eight bananas on one day!I doubt these are really fast ways to lose weight but the basic plan helped me to lose 5lbs in 7 days before a party I was desperate to look good at!</p>
<p>Calorie shifting is another of the ways to lose weight fast a lot of people like. It is a relatively new concept but it simply has to do with metabolism and how your body reacts to food consumption. You probably hear people saying dieting is bad because it slows your metabolism making fat loss even more difficult? This is true however the bodies metabolism is based on the level of food it has been consuming over the most recent time period, it has no idea what is coming ahead.</p>
<p>What we can do then is alternate periods of feast followed by famine so that the high metabolism we generate during the feast phase burns a ton of fat during the famine. This method of weight loss id also called intermittent fasting and some people have claimed that they have lost up to 30 lbs in just 30 days!</p>
<p>If you have a significant amount of weight to lose this really could be one of the fast ways to lose weight, if however you only need to drop a few extra pound before the weekend you might want to consider the cabbage soup diet.</p>
